United gave up a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 away at Woochu Sports Arena on Saturday.
ย
We started brightly and took the lead in the 32nd minute through Tsenda, who chipped the ball in from close range after a brilliant pass from Abayomi. It was Tsenda’s first league goal of the season and the 63rd for the club.

ย
Phurba Tenzin doubled United’s lead just before halftime with a screamer, putting the ball in the top corner from just outside the box. A contender for goal of the season.
ย
Paro FC pulled one back in the 59th minute after some sloppy defending from United left three Paro players unmarked in the box, with one heading home.
ย
United’s hopes of victory were further dented when Dicka was sent off for a straight red card in the 60th minute. Coach Pema was forced to make a substitution, bringing on Phuntsho Jigme to shore up the defense in place of Phurba Tenzin.
Paro FC equalized in the 79th minute after United failed to clear a dangerous ball in the box. Despite playing with 10 men, United held on for a draw in the remaining minutes.
ย
“Not a great day at the office, but we will take the point away from a difficult ground,” said Coach Pema.
ย
United’s next match is against RTC FC on Sunday, May 26th at Changlimithang.
In pic: Abayomi whose sleek footwork created the first goal of the day.
