Transport United FC Ladies Signs Three New Players from Nepal for National Women’s Football Championship
Thimphu, Bhutan – August 16, 2024 – Transport United FC (TUFC) is proud to announce the signing of three exceptional players from Nepal: Khusma Rai, Susila Kumari Chaudhari, and Jenifer Rana Monger. These signings have been made for the ongoing National Women’s Football Championship.
During a press meetup, the President of TUFC stated, “We are delighted to welcome Khusma Rai, Susila Kumari Chaudhari, and Jenifer Rana Monger to our team. This strategic signing is crucial as many of our players from the qualifying matches have left either for further studies or have moved to Australia. Retaining players has been challenging, and these new signings will fill the gaps. We are looking forward to their valuable contributions to the team.”
Khusma Rai
Age: 21
Football Journey: Began playing at age 13
Previous Club: Tribhuwan Army Club
Experience: Twice represented Nepal in U-15 SAFF, played in U-16 AFC qualifiers, and participated in the U-19 SAFF Championship.
Susila Kumari Chaudhari
Age: 22
Football Journey: Began playing at age 14
Experience: Played in the National Women’s League, Nepal and the Inter-Province Women’s League, Nepal.
Jenifer Rana Monger
Football Journey: Began playing at age 16
Experience: Played for various clubs in Nepal, represented Nepal in SAF U18 against India and Bangladesh, and participated in AFC U20 held in Palestine.
