Grand Sport Thailand and Transport United FC Support Bhutan Shooting Federation

Thimphu, Bhutan – Transport United FC, in collaboration with Grand Sport, Thailand, extended their support to Bhutan’s athletes by generously sponsoring tracksuits for shooters from the Bhutan Shooting Federation. This kind gesture reflects Grand Sport Thailand’s commitment to supporting and spreading love for Bhutanese athletes.
As part of this collaboration, Mr. Tatchaphol Srichankij, Marketing Director, and Mr. Jirayu Supjindavong, International Business Sales Manager from Grand Sport, are currently on a tour of Bhutan. Their visit marks a strengthening of ties between Grand Sport and Transport United FC, paving the way for further partnerships in Bhutan’s sports sector.
In an exciting development, Transport United FC has announced that a Grand Sport showroom will soon be opening in Thimphu, offering a wide range of high-quality sports gear. The grand opening is expected by the end of next month, bringing world-class sporting equipment closer to Bhutanese athletes.
Meanwhile, the National Shooting Sport Association of Thailand is set to host the Asian Rifle/Pistol Cup 2025 from February 9 to 22, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand. Bhutan will be participating in the Pistol Men Category, with a team led by Coach Dorji Phurba. The two athletes representing Bhutan, Tandin Wangchuk and Kinley Penjor, have received warm wishes from Grand Sport officials for their upcoming tournament.
Speaking on the occasion, Jigme Tshewang, President of Transport United FC, expressed his joy in being able to contribute to the Bhutan Shooting Federation. “We always believe in growing together, and today we are delighted to offer our support to these talented athletes. This is just the beginning, and there is much more to come in the future,” he stated.
