More than 168 participants joined in a day full of fun and engaging football activities, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for sport among children and young people in the region.
The event aimed to:
- Raise awareness about child safeguarding and the importance of creating safe, supportive environments for young athletes.
- Promote inclusive participation, ensuring football is open and welcoming to people of all ages, genders, and abilities.
- Celebrate diversity and unity by bringing communities together through the shared love of the game.
- Give everyone regardless of skill level or background a chance to enjoy the simple joy of playing football.
- Highlight the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of staying active through sports.
- Strengthen community ties by using football as a way to connect families, players, and local partners.
