A Tough Lesson, But Not the End.

After a long international break, our girls returned to the pitch for their second match of the season. Highly anticipated clash against Paro WFC on Tuesday, 22nd July 2025. While the result wasn’t what we had hoped for, it was a match full of valuable lessons and undeniable fight.
The first half brought drama and determination. In the 39th minute, Paro found the back of the net, but our response was instant, just a minute later, Sunita Rai equalized with a composed finish that brought us level and reignited the team’s energy. The first half ended 1-1, setting the stage for a promising second half.
However, football can be unpredictable. Despite some promising chances, the game slipped away from us in the second half as Paro added two more goals. The match ended in a 3-1 defeat.
But this loss does not define us. It’s just the beginning of a long journey. What defines us is how we respond, with fire, focus, and unity. The team will regroup, refocus, and come back stronger. That’s our promise.
All eyes are now on our next fixture as we take on Southern City WFC on 28th July 2025, away at their home ground. The mission remains clear: turn this setback into a comeback.
