Game After Game, Win After Win!
What a week it’s been for our team! Two games on the road, and two absolutely dominant victories. The girls have truly shown what they’re made of!
On August 5th, we faced Phuntsholing Hero WFC in our second away match of the season. Right from the kickoff, our girls were in full control. By halftime, we were already up 7-0, and the hunger didn’t stop there. The second half saw the same fire and determination, ending the match with a commanding 12-0 win at PSA Ground.
Woman of the Match went to the ever-reliable Krishna Rani Sarkar, who put in a fantastic 90-minute shift and led from the front with her relentless energy and skill.
No time to rest! Right after the game, we headed straight to Samtse for our next clash just day after on August 6th. But tired legs? Not at all! The girls were even more ruthless on the pitch against Samtse WFC at the Samtse Artificial Turf.
By halftime, we were already up 14-0, but the team didn’t take their foot off the gas. The final whistle blew at 28-0, another incredible win showcasing the depth, fitness, and fighting spirit of the squad.
Woman of the Match honors this time went to Tashi Wangmo, who was composed, clinical, and simply brilliant throughout. And a special shoutout to goalkeeper Rupna Chakma for keeping a clean sheet, rock solid at the back!
Now, the team is back in training and getting ready for our biggest test yet. A crucial clash against RTC WFC.
