Big Win and Bright Debuts! 8–0 Victory Over U17 Gelephu Academy Girls
What a performance from the team! We came out full of energy and never let up, securing a dominant 8–0 win over the U17 Gelephu Academy Girls and it turned out to be a day to remember, especially for our debut players.
We kicked things off with a great goal from Tshering Choden in the 12th minute to set the tone. Just before halftime, Yeshi Choden added a composed finish to double our lead and send us into the break 2–0.
Then the second half exploded literally right from the restart. Masura Parvin, who had just come off the bench, made an instant impact by scoring within 45 seconds of being on the pitch.
Not long after, Tshering Choden found the net again for her second of the match. And then came a moment of brilliance from debutant Srimoti Krishna Rani Sankar, who turned her defender and fired home a fantastic goal. She later added another, making her debut even more special.
Captain Sunita Rai showed her class with a well-taken goal, and Puja Rana also making her debut put the finishing touch on a brilliant team effort with our eighth and final goal.
We also want to shout out Birsana Chaudhary, who had an incredible debut with three assists, constantly creating chances and linking up play. Samjhana Lawati also impressed with one assist, playing with calm and confidence.
From start to finish, this was a true team effort. So many new faces, and so much promise on display. This win wasn’t just about the score it was a sign of how bright our future looks.
