Dominance Delivered: 5-2 Victory Over Tensung FC.
What a night at Changlimithang! Under the lights and in front of our amazing home crowd, we delivered a thrilling performance to secure a 5-2 win over Tensung FC in our second leg match and with it, another 3 points in the bag.
From the kickoff, the boys looked sharp, hungry, and in full control of the game. It didn’t take long to break the deadlock. In the 10th minute, a perfect cross from Tenzin Jamtsho found Afeez Olawale, who made no mistake and calmly finished to give us an early lead.
Just six minutes later, we doubled our advantage thanks to a beautifully placed corner from Ugyen Dorji, which Alex William met with a strong header to make it 2-0. That scoreline held until halftime.
The second half? Even better. The team came out with the same energy, and in the 51st minute, it was Tenzin Jamtsho again with the assist. This time setting up Abayomi Fakunle for a clinical finish into the Top corner to make it 3-0.
Ten minutes later, Afeez Olawale bagged his second of the game, thanks to a great assists from Bikash Pradhan, putting us 4-0 up.
Tensung did manage to pull one back in the 65th minute, but we responded almost immediately. In the 70th, a quick one-two between Ugyen Dorji and Abayomi ended with another cool finish and making his second of the night and our fifth goal.
Tensung grabbed a late goal in stoppage time, but the match ended in a well-deserved 5-2 victory for us.
Man of the Match Abayomi Fakunle
Abayomi was on fire tonight, his pace, positioning, and pressure on the Tensung defense caused problems all game. Two goals, nonstop effort, and a huge contribution to the win.

- It made a proud debut for Sangay Chophel, who made his first appearance of the season.
- And big respect to our keeper Tobgay despite not keeping a clean sheet, he made some key saves and looked solid and composed throughout.

With this win, we now head into the international break on a high. The focus will be on recovery, fixing a few things, and coming back even stronger.
