What a night it was on August 7th at Tsirangโs home ground! We faced Tsirang FC for the fourth time and once again, we came out on top, making it 4 wins in 4 meetings with a massive 5โ0 victory. The boys absolutely dominated from start to finish and brought home all three points in style.
Right from the first whistle, we were on the frontfoot pressing hard, creating chances, and showing real hunger for goals. The breakthrough came in the 27th minute when Taye Daniel calmly finished off a brilliant free-kick delivery from Jigdrel Wangchuk. Thatโs Tayeโs second goal of the season, and it gave us a deserved 1โ0 lead going into halftime.
The second half? Even better.
Just 5 minutes in, Santosh Khatri stepped up with a stunning free-kick to score his first-ever goal for the club and for the season! Then in the 67th minute, Abayomi Fakunle made it 3โ0 with a calm, composed finish after a great assist from Afeez Olawale.
We werenโt done yet. In the 77th minute, Alex William powered in a header from a well-placed corner by Bikash Pradhan. And to top it all off, in the final seconds of the game 90+ min, our very own Kinley Penjor scored a beautiful goal after a long assist straight from our keeper, Tobgay!
