This highly anticipated match drew the largest attendance of the season, reflecting its significance for both teams vying for those crucial three points.
The fans dubbed this showdown “The Grizzly Bears vs. The Tigers.” The nickname “Grizzly Bears” for TUFC symbolizes their strength, resilience, and tenacity on the field. Just like a grizzly bear, TUFC is known for their powerful presence and ability to dominate their territory, making it tough for opponents to breach their defense. On the other side, Paro FC, the “Tigers,” are known for their agility, speed, and ferocity, characteristics that have kept them unbeaten this season.
The day started with rain and a bit of chill at Changlimithang Stadium, setting the stage for a fascinating match eagerly awaited by every football fan in Bhutan.
