Changlimithang, June 15, 2025  It was a heartbreaking evening for the home side at the iconic Changlimithang Stadium as they fell 1-3 to BFF Academy in a high-intensity encounter. Despite playing on familiar turf, the team struggled to find their rhythm in a match filled with drama, missed chances, and late heartbreak.

The game got off to a rough start, with BFF Academy capitalizing on a quick counterattack to score in just the 6th minute. From then on, both teams created multiple chances, but neither could find the back of the net for the remainder of the first half.

The second half began with renewed energy, and it didn’t take long for the home side to respond. Less than a minute in, Abayomi earned a penalty with a brilliant move inside the box and calmly slotted it home, sending the keeper the wrong way to level the score at 1-1.
