This event, spearheaded by Transport United FC, aimed to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean home ground and proper waste segregation.
Players from both the Men’s and Women’s teams, along with the management and led by the President, participated enthusiastically in this cleaning campaign. The presence of the President at the forefront highlighted the importance of the initiative and set a powerful example of leadership and responsibility.
In his address, the President expressed his gratitude and emphasized the significance of playing and hosting games in the iconic Changlimithang Stadium. He remarked, “To play and host games in this iconic stadium is both touching and a blessing. Many historic moments have been created on this ground. What we do today and have done in the past is part of our responsibility. I thank everyone who turned up today to join hands in this effort.“
